BARBARA ANN GILBERT KING FLORENCE, SC Barbara Ann Gilbert King, 73, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. Barbara was born in Hartsville, SC a beloved daughter of the late Maxie Lee Gilbert and Mary Magdelene Lundy Gilbert.She was a graduate of Hartsville High School and was a Home Health Care Provider.She was the best Mama, Nanny and Grandma B. in the whole world, was loved by all and will be missed and loved forever. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Maxie Lee Gilbert, Woody Gilbert, Jesse Gilbert and Jay Gilbert; sister, Margaret Gilbert Hall Schut and former husband, George Beasley. Surviving are her children, Joey Beasley of Lamar, Randy L. (Georgia) Beasley and Audrey Kelly (James) Elliott, both of Florence; grandchildren, George Elvin Beasley, Elizabeth McLeod Beasley, Daniel Learin Beasley, Kelly Kaitlin Elliott and Rachael Braxton Elliott; siblings, Mary Lou Flannery of Dade City, FL and Tiny Tim Gilbert of Chicago, IL. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Thursday at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 17, 2015 at Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home Chapel in Hartsville, SC.
