Barbara K. Coleman

Barbara K. Coleman, 91, of Camden, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Mrs. Coleman was born in Hanover, NH a daughter of the late Harley G. and Cornelia Bates Knights. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband, James Wallace Coleman. Surviving are her son, David Marshall Coleman of Columbia, SC (Joyce Holmes Coleman); daughter, Kimberly Coleman Pitts of Florence (Mitchell Pitts); grandchildren, Justin Michael Coleman of Columbia, Megan Elizabeth Coleman of Pelion, SC, Robert Alan Pitts of Florence, Anna Pitts Fox of Georgetown, SC, and Satori Levante Holmes of Charlotte, NC; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Spencer Coleman of Pelion, SC, Larkin Rose Pitts and Robert Layne Pitts, both of Florence, Emma Louise Fox and Everly Lawrence Fox, both of Georgetown. Roger Morris, “adopted son” and long time friend of the family. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, February 12, 2021 at Florence National Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Due to Covid-19, social distancing and masks are requested.
