Barbara Carmichael Caudill

Barbara Carmichael Caudill, 70, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at McLeod Hospice House. Mrs. Caudill was born in New Castle, IN, a daughter of the late Charles N. Carmichael and Esther Magee Carmichael.Her sure hope was in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.She was an active member of Florence Baptist Temple and was a long-term volunteer nursery worker at the church.Mrs. Caudill was the attendance clerk with Southside Middle School for seventeen years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Allison Procik who passed away in 2002. Surviving are her husband of fifty-two years, Leonard “Len” Caudill; her son, Ryan (Jennifer) Caudill of Florence; her daughters, Rena (Dean) Spencer of Lancaster and Rachel (Steve) Procik of Florence; her brother, Bruce (Chris) Carmichael of Knightstown, IN; and her grandchildren, Ross, Will, Nathan, Lauren, Madison, Cole, Emma and Isabel, as well as many adoring nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 14, 2014, at Florence Baptist Temple.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
