BARBARA DEWSBURY BOOTH FLORENCE, SC Barbara Dewsbury Booth, 78, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at McLeod Hospice House. Barb was born in Long Island, NY on August 20, 1934. She grew up in The Salvation Army where she also served as a commissioned officer and after retirement, as a social worker. Barb was preceded in death by her parents William and Mabel Dewsbury, husband Calvin, grandson Wesley, and great-granddaughter Emma. Barb is survived by four children; daughters Cherie (Mac) of Richlands, NC; Lynn; Kriss (Cliff); and son Bill (Sue) all of Florence, SC; 12 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, May 24, 2013 at The Salvation Army 2210 Hoffmeyer Road, Florence.The family is being assisted by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
