ARTHUR FORREST “EAGLE” CLENDENIN FLORENCE, SC Arthur Forrest “Eagle” Clendenin, of Florence, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013. Mr. Clendenin was born in Buchanan County, VA, the son of the late Elbert Forrest Clendenin and Marie Ellis Clendenin.Mr. Clendenin was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of Love Life Ministries and had retired as the owner/operator of Rosebud Trucking. In addition to his parents, Mr. Clendenin is predeceased by his brothers, Charles Clendenin and Wesley Clendenin. Surviving are his wife of forty-six years, Sandra Meadows Clendenin; his children, Cammy Tatum of Richlands, VA, Barbie (James) Riley of Big Rock, VA, and Lakin Clendenin of Florence; and his grandchildren, Blake Tatum and Devin Riley. The family will receive friends at 6:00 pm Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Singleton Funeral Home in Cedar Bluff, Virginia, with the funeral service at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.Burial will be at 11:00 am Friday at Green Hills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, Virginia.
