Annie Ruth Kirby

Annie Ruth Kirby, 84, widow of the late James Marion Kirby, died Friday, December 04, 2015 at the McLeod Hospice House. She was born September 2, 1931 in Florence County, a daughter of the late Luther B. and Ruth Hatchell Grant. She was a charter member of the South Florence Baptist Church, and a longtime clerk at Cokers and JC Penney. Survivors include a son, Robert C. Lee and a daughter, Cheryl Bass, both of Florence, and two grandchildren, Corey Dawkins and Bridgett Kennedy. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 6 at South Florence Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens.
