ANNIE MAE LEE KIRBY BAILEY FLORENCE, SC ANNIE MAE LEE KIRBY BAILEY, 77, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Carolinas Hospital System after an illness. Mrs. Bailey was born in Florence Co., SC a daughter of Traxler Kirby and Mammie Bell Kirby.She was adopted by Ernest and Emma Lee as an infant.She was a member of Elim Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her adoptive parents; her first husband, Dock Emerson Kirby; daughter, Charlette Langston; step-sons, Arthur Ray Bailey and Charlie Allison Bailey, Jr. Surviving are her husband, Charlie A. Bailey of Florence; children, Lee E. (Lois) Kirby of Timmonsville, Phyllis (the late Rocky) Springs of Florence, Dillon Kirby of Sumter and Russell (Rose) Kirby of Evergreen; son-in-law, Joe Langston of Timmonsville; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Louise (LeRoy) Langston of Florence and a special step-niece, Jeanette Hutchinson and her family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 12, 2013 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
