ANNETTE GANTT HARRIS ANNETTE GANTT HARRIS, 65, of Florence, died Monday, March 28, 2011 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Mrs. Harris was born in Plymouth, England, a daughter of the late Walton H. Gantt and Ethel "Friend" Buxton Gantt.She was a member of South Florence Baptist Church and retired as a nursing home assistant. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ronnie Buxton, Roy Buxton, Maurice Buxton and Roger Gantt. Surviving are her husband, Louis Guy Harris of Florence; sons, Berry Nelson of Florence; daughter, Jennifer (George) Williamson of Myrtle Beach, SC; step-son, Steven Harris of Atlanta, GA; step-daughter, Debbie (Lee) Herring of Florence; grandchildren, Lindsey Herring and Lauren Cole, both of Florence and Ashley Skipper and Gracie Skipper, both of Myrtle Beach; brother, Joel (Cindy) Grantt of Florence; special friends, Judy and Nicole Skipper, Abby Broach, Kevin, Kim and Hailie Skipper. Memorials may be made to the South Florence Baptist Church, Capture the Vision Fund, 2720 South Irby Street, Florence, SC29505. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, March 30, 2011 in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.Entombment will follow directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.The family will receive friends from 3 – 4 Wednesday at the mausoleum.
