Ann Herring Hayes

Ann Herring Hayes, 69, of Pamplico, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Mrs. Hayes was born in Dillon County, SC, a daughter of the late Gordon Herring and Vera Gough Herring.She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pamplico. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ben Frank Hayes, who passed away on September 21, 2010. Surviving are her daughters, Melissa (Wayne) Howell of Ridgeville and Cathy (James) Achee of Pamplico; her grandchildren, Benjamin (Jennifer) Cooper, Matthew(Chae) Cooper and Nicholas Achee; a great-grandchild, Rebecca Ali; a brother, Gordon Herring of Alabama; a sister, Patsy Allen of Dillon and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, 2014 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Committal Service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in Hayestown Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery in Lake View, SC.
