Amber Renee Srutkowski

Amber Renee Srutkowski, 31, of North Charleston, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021. Mrs. Srutkowski was born in Florence, SC a daughter of Robert E. Kirven, Jr. and Dawn Myers Smith.She received her BA in Criminal Justice from Limestone College and her BA in Biology from Francis Marion University.She was employed with a doggie daycare, loved animals and volunteered with Sea Turtle Preservation.She had 7 cats, 2 dogs, and a turtle. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Mildred Marie Kirven and her maternal grandmother, Patricia H. Libby. Surviving are her husband, George Srutkowski of North Charleston; father, Robert (Holly) Kirven, Jr. of Darlington; mother, Dawn (Mark) Smith of Florence; brother, Robert R. Kirven of North Charleston; maternal grandfather, Henry L. Myers of Cherry Grove, SC; paternal grandfather, Robert E. (Linda) Kirven, Sr. of Effingham; special uncles, Tracy Myers of Hartsville, and Heyward C. Atkinson, Jr. of Darlington; special aunt, Robbin Rhyne of Florence; special best friends, Samantha Holloman and Elaine Kirven; special in-laws, Steve and Patricia Srutkowski and brother-in-law, Larry Srutkowski; and numerous cousins. Memorials may be made to the Sea Turtle Foundation, www.scaquarium.org. The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 am Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the service to be held at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel.
