ADRIAN LEE RHODE FLORENCE, SC Adrian Lee Rhode, 82, a resident of Elmcroft of Florence, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Mr. Rhode was born in Cottageville, SC a son of the late Adrian A. Rhode and Hattie Shieder Rhode.He was an alumni of Clemson University and a Director for the USDA.He was a veteran of the US Army, a member of Southside Baptist Church and a member of the Amity Lodge #340 AFM. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Juanita S. Rhode, a brother and a step-son. Surviving are a sister, eight nieces; four nephews; two step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice House, PO Box 100551, Florence, SC29502, www.mcleodfoundation.org. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.Entombment will follow directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 AM Tuesday in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel prior to the service.
