Adrian Lewis Padgett

Adrian Lewis Padgett, 88, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017. Mr. Padgett was born in Aiken, SC, a son of the late Alphia Padgett and Allie Franklin Padgett.He was a veteran of the US Air Force and graduated from Clemson University with a Master’s Degree.He retired from Clemson Extension Service as a Community Development Specialist.Mr. Padgett was a Gideon with the Florence West Camp and was a member of Florence Baptist Temple. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandchild, Jessica Amber Johnson and his brother, Alonzo Padgett. Mr. Padgett is survived by his wife of63 years, Lorene Joan Seigler Padgett; sons, A. Vaughn Padgett (Melanie) of Florence and Jerry D. Padgett (Lizette) of Lynchburg, VA; daughters, Vicki Corder (Andrew) and Sharon Rohme (Rick), both of Florence; fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 10-11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Florence Baptist Temple. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Florence Baptist Temple. Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
