Acie E. Jackson

Acie E. Jackson, 75, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. Mr. Jackson was born a son of the late Ardella Cook Jackson and William H. Jackson. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, Arvil, Hershel, Gleason and Clinton; sister, Truby; and also predeceased by his grandson, Acie Jackson Buchner. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Wilson Jackson; daughters, Penny Compton (Timmy) of Florence, Wendy Buchner (Rob) of Florence and Ann Jackson-Benton, Monessen, PA; grandchildren, Chris Compton, Arron Compton, Robbie Buchner, Jesse Buchner, Carter Buchner, Holly Godwin, Juliann Godwin and Anthony Fortune; great-grandchildren, Jackson Compton, Chance Buchner, Brielle Buchner, Acie Buchner, Everly Buchner and Roman Vulcano; great-great-grandchild, Addisyn Buchner; brothers, Cletis Jackson (Chris) and Lennis Jackson (Donna) both of Iaeger, WV; and sisters, Glada Cline of Charleston, WV, Doris Vanover (Estel) of Pipestem, WV, Carol East (Dave) of Darlington, IN, Emma Sue Addair of Hickory, NC and Debbie Davis of Ikes Fork, WV. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1:00 -2:00 PM at the funeral home on Saturday. Due to the current COVID-19 concerns, social distancing will be observed.
