Chris John Orphan

Chris John Orphan, Sr. 74, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018. Mr. Orphan was born a son of the late John Orphan and Mary Nicholas Orphan.He was a veteran of the US Air Force and owner and operator of a local construction company.Mr. Orphan was a member of Transfiguration of Our Savior Greek Orthodox Church. Mr. Orphan is survived by his wife, Lois Annelle Hinson Orphan; son, Chris John Orphan, Jr. (Crystal) of Florence; daughter, Angela Christina Reinhart (Russ) of Irmo; grandchildren, Nicholas Orphan, Austin DeHart and Anna DeHart; brother, George Orphan (Carol); sisters, Ann Peterson and Penny Chestnut (David) and close friend, Gene Gibson. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his son, George Pete Orphan; sister, Koula Pitchford. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018, at Transfiguration of Our Savior Greek Orthodox Church.Burial will follow at Florence National Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
